Time to take your cats to the vet?

* ASPCA Mobile Spay/Neuter Clinics

- As we all know, animal hospitals are sooooooo expensive and sometimes it's really hard for us to afford the cost, but here is a little tip that can save you some money.

The ASPCA offers free spay/neuter surgery via five fully-equipped mobile veterinary clinics that travel to many of NYC's neighborhoods! They offer free spay/neuter for those have proof of public assistance. If not, a $99 fee per animal fee is required. Check out the link below for more information.

I personally had no idea about this place until Kanji got spayed. lol

* Clinton Veterinary Center

- I took Kanji to this place to get spayed. When I got Kanji, I had this intention that I might mate Coco with Kanji and make some money off kittens to help my tuition, but it did not happen because when kanji became a man, Coco wasn't in heat and to make a long story to short, kanji had to get spayed when he started to spray around my house, especially right on the heater. Trust me. It smells thousands times worse than any horrible armpit that you can imagine. lol

I had 19 veterinarians' numbers for my neightborhood, midtown. I literally called each one of them and asked for the cost and Clinton Veterinary Center was the one that offered me the cheapest price. The Doctor was kind and the overall service was great too.

* NYC Veterinary Specialists & 24-Hour Emergency Veterinary Care

- You want to take your cat to this place ONLY for EMERGENCY care. I took Kanji when he had an eye infection and I found out about it around 7pm when I got back home from my school. It was my very first time to take my cat to the pet hospital in America and had no idea how expensive it could be. This kind of 24-hour emergency care is twice as expensive as a regural veterinary. However, I will have to say that it is definitely a good place to keep in mind for emergency purposes.
