Hello! I'm a Korean girl living in NYC and I have two persian cats, Coco & Kanji.

 

I adopted 6 months old cat, Coco, from this Korean guy that I found from this Korean community website called Heykorean.com.
It was a hot summer day around July in 2008 and I was sitting on the back-seat of the Korean guy's car, holding Coco in my arms.
I could tell that Coco was scared and so was I.
My journey with Coco started just like that and soon later, I learned that it's not a cat living in my house but me living in a cat's house. lol You will know what it means once you have a cat. :)

 

I definitely fell in love with Coco. She was so elegant, cocky, and lovely.
She doesn't come to me first most of the time but comes a few times a day and allows me to pet her but then she will leave quickly.
it might sound ridiculous to a dog lover, but I think this is the beauty of having a cat. lol

 

In 2009 around July, I decided to get one more cat which is Kanji. Kanji was three months old when I got him.
I also found Kanji from Heykorean.com and when I saw kanji's face, it looked so similar to Coco that it made me almost think that it was Coco. So I got Kanji.:)

 

Anyway, I love my cats. They are my friends who know my secrets the most but never tell anybody. ;)
